MedOpen : A initiative of the Coastal Management Center
Virtual training course on integrated coastal area management
Friday 30 April 2004, by Web Team

This training course aims to assist Mediterranean countries in building capacities for coastal management. It has been globally agreed that the Integrated Coastal Area Management (whether its acronym be ICAM, ICZM, or ICM) is an optimal approach to a successful coastal management. Such an approach will be used in this training course.

Target users of MedOpen are decision makers (at the local, national, regional, and international level), policy advisors, project managers, staff and experts from international organisations and institutions, academic researchers, students, and all others interested in coastal management.

The first round of the training course is scheduled for April 2004.
