A Second Veterinarian Campaign in Zaranik
Thursday 29 January 2004, by Web Team
A veterinarian campaign to Zaranik was organized from 17-19 December 2003 to diagnose and treat the livestock of the local Bedouin who live in 6 villages/ settlements within the vicinities of Zaranik, and provide veterinarian awareness in herds’ management and care. It comprised 33 Professors, Assistant Professors, Technicians and Students from the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Menoufeya University. This is the second veterinarian campaign to take place in Zaranik. The first one was from 27 - 30/7/2002. It is worth noting that members of the campaign were impressed by the level of awareness and care that these villages had, as a result of the earlier one. A veterinarian campaign is planned for Omayed in February 2004.
