May 1974 - June 1978 teaching practical courses in Agric. Zoology and Entomology to B.Sc. students, with a research study of the common Egyptian birds. September 1978 - June 1984 studying for M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degrees in the field of ecology at the University of California, Davis, USA. September 1984 - Now, teaching courses in Ecology and Agricultural Zoology to B.Sc. and graduate students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
