Birdwatching hide installed in Tyre Coastal Nature Reserve
Friday 5 December 2003, by
Through funding from Wetlands International and through a partnership initiative between SPNL-AMWAJ and BirdLife International a bird watching hide was installed in Tyre Coast Nature Reserve.
The bird hide overlooks the conservation area in the site. It has been designed in a way that permits its expansion to a larger size in the future in order to be able to accommodate an increasing number of visitors.
This bird hide will be used for awareness campaigns focusing on the protection of the avifauna.
An entrance fee to the hide will help raise funds for the sustainability of the reserve
